Creating and Breaking a World Record for OREO at Walmart

OREO had spent so much time focusing on new flavor innovations, they had forgotten about the classics, resulting in slowed sales of their base OREO Cookie. They needed a way to reignite shoppers’ love of that classic cookie.
Nothing reminded them of their passion like the simple joy of dunking an OREO Cookie into milk. We wanted to bring people together in a big way to remind them all of this simple love. Using the country's busiest Walmart as the backdrop for this unforgettable experience, we brought people together to share in an unforgettable experience of dunking cookies in milk. We set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cookie dunk ever and sold quite a lot of cookies doing it.
