A Movement to Fight Modern-Day Slavery

As hard as it is to believe, slavery was never abolished. It permeates our world under the guise of a new, more elusive name: modern slavery.  Today, between 22-40 million people are trapped worldwide in a variety of forms, including sex slavery,  forced labor, debt bondage, child labor marriage and forced child soldiers.

 

 It is a criminal industry that generates over $150 billion in profit annually, Furthermore, this is spread across over 2,100 organizations all which have different, fragmented messages. We were tasked with creating a campaign, or really, start a movement to unite these organizations and invite regular people into this complex and confusing issue that impacts us all.

We chose to walk away from the dark, negative images and words that it were so easy to go to. Instead, we created a positive, empowering, emboldened image that will some day, set us all free.
